Visual Arts Gr10

In Grade 10 the main emphasis of the Visual Arts course is an independent and personal approach to learning and creative work. Throughout the course there are a series of open ended projects within which the students are encouraged to investigate and experiment in a variety of visual media. The course also introduces the students to the work of a number of both contemporary and historically significant visual artists. The course is designed to prepare students for the IB Diploma Program Visual Arts course.

Students will all receive a Developmental Workbook, a visual diary, to use to explore and express their own ideas and to document both their creative research, reflective writing and creative preparatory work
