Giving Tree Winners

Very many thanks to everyone who contributed to buying Giving Tree gift tags for our Pfrang students; we have sold them all. The PYP class that bought the most, and therefore the recipient of a trophy and sweets, is 1A, Ms Brown‘s class. The advisory that bought the most is Mr Lee‘s. I’ll drop off the prizes this morning. The winner of the raffle was Elizabeth from BSN. Congratulations to the winners and thanks again for your support. You have brought cheer to our students’ lives.

MYP Performers

Dear Advisory Teachers:

Beginner Band students will be performing in the PYP assembly. Please excuse them from advisory early (as soon as they come in). They should come directly to the theatre to setup and prepare their instruments for the performance. Also, please remind the orchestra, Hyeonkyu and Lucas that they need to be in the theatre for 10:15 tomorrow.

Thanks,

Miss Keus

School Bells

Many thanks to staff and students who continue to submit potential bells. Because the schedule was set in August, I can only add extra bells if a slot is available. I’d like to alternate between PYP and MYP/DP bells; however, many of the submissions lack a submission name. If you want a greater chance of your bell being heard, then please put a homeroom or advisory name with your submission – that way I can see that your advisory/homeroom hasn’t had a turn yet, and try to slot yours into the schedule. Thanks.

Friday Gingerbread House

On Friday morning, my advisory will be decorating gingerbread houses and watching a holiday movie (possibly Home Alone?) with a supply teacher while I’m out doing assemblies. If there’s an advisory still looking for an activity, and you’d like to join us, please let me know by the end of day on Wednesday. I’ll be baking the gingerbread houses on Wednesday night, so I need to know who is coming so I know how many houses to bake. First come first served.
