Chicken Pox

Dear Teachers:

Please note that there has been a recent confirmed case of Chicken Pox (Varicella) in Middle School.
Chickenpox is a very contagious disease caused by a virus. It causes a blister-like rash, itching, tiredness and fever. It can be especially serious in babies, adults, and people with weakened immune systems. More detailed information please find

If you or anyone in your household has symptoms that look like Chicken Pox:

●  Contact your regular health care provider immediately
●  If you have Chicken Pox, stay at home until the lesions have scabbed over
●  Check to see if anyone in your home may need to be vaccinated
●  All suspected cases should be reported to me.

If you hear of any students who have Chicken Pox, please inform me immediately.
