ACAMIS Early Years Conference Call for Presenters

The ACAMIS Early Childhood Education (ECE) Conference, hosted by NIS on October 25-26, is now accepting peer presenter proposals. This is an opportunity for early childhood educators to facilitate learning opportunities – by teachers for teachers.
We welcome peer presenter teams to share expertise with our peers. If you already practice good collaboration with a teacher, you can come and present together.
Deadline for proposal submissions: Monday, May 20th, 2019.
The ECE Conference Planning Committee will be in touch with potential presenters.
Please send the completed Peer Presentation Proposal Form to eo@acamis.org.
Please feel free to email Junlah or Shemo if you have any questions.

Seeking Mentors for Exhibition

The Grade Five Team is seeking willing NIS staff members to be mentors for the Grade Five students throughout the Exhibition process.

Exhibition, “involves students working collaboratively to conduct an in-depth inquiry into real life issues or problems.  Students collectively synthesise all of the essential elements of the PYP in ways that can be shared with the whole school community.” -ibo.org

More details related to the the exact role and time commitment will be communicated in a Mentor meet-up happening the week of March 4. Please email junlahmadalinski@nanjing-school.com, by this Friday, if you are interested in becoming an Exhibition mentor.
