TEDxYouth@NIS is happening on March 3rd, 2018 at Nanjing International School. Our goal is to provide a platform where the people of Nanjing can share their ideas worth spreading in either English or Mandarin.

Our speakers last year shared their path to forgiveness, challenged our perception of the hijab, showed us the beauty of dissonant sounds, and much more. You can check out last year’s TEDxYouth@NIS talks here.

If this sounds like you or someone you know, write to us at tedx@nanjing-school.com.

We hope to hear from you!

TEDxYouth@NIS is looking for team members

TEDxYouth@NIS is an event organized under license from TED.com, where teachers, students, and our community members give a TEDTalk (check out last year’s speakers here!). It’s on the calendar for March 3rd, 2018 — but the work begins now.

If you’d like to be a part of the organizing committee, or want to find out what the work involves, come chat with Mr Mello or Ms Ryan — or email us at tedx@nanjing-school.com

Grade 12 Discover China trip

Class of 2018,

I’ve started receiving potential itineraries for your senior trip in May next year.
Please stop by room D204 if you’d like to offer feedback on the first ideas coming in about destinations and activities. There’s a board you can write on with a first suggestion.

Please note nothing is decided yet — not even the destination. This is just a feedback round.

All of our TEDxYouth@NIS talks are now posted here. Latest additions are Frank’s “A good face for radio” and Hibah’s “Clearing misconceptions” — a moving spoken word performance.

Our next event is in March 2018. Speak to Ms. Tryona or Mr. Mello if you have an idea worth spreading or would like to join the organizing team (teachers and students).

Stay tuned!
