The Final Countdown

Twas the last day of Movember, and all through NIS,
Men were scratching their itchy faces, while women were thinking, “YES!
Finally the time has come, for our men to be less hairy,
Though some of them were kind of handsome, most looked a little scary.”
The razors have been sharpened and the shaving cream is all set,
but before Movember is finished, try not to forget:
These men were doing more than just growing facial hair,
They were raising money for male health issues, and helping others to be more aware.
So if you get a chance today, please visit this site and donate,
Movember may almost be over, but it’s definitely not too late!

2 Days to go-It’s the Final Countdown!

Sharpen those razors, get that shaving cream ready, take one last photo of your beautiful mustacheless face, and smile- Movember starts SUNDAY!

There is still time to sign up for Team Nanjing at:

Remember, this isn’t just for men or women that can grow incredible face caterpillars (mustaches), EVERYBODY can join in the fun by participating in MOVE. All you need to do is sign up online and exercise EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. during November starting Sunday, November 1st.

If you participate or donate to the Movember foundation, you will be raising money and awareness for men’s health issues that effect millions of men around the world.

Please see Mr. Fischl or Mr. Buhler if you have any questions.

12 Days and counting until

Movember and Move begin!

What’s Movember? Movember is a movement where during the month of November, men around the world become more incredibly good looking by the day by growing mustaches to help raise money and awareness for men’s health issues.

What’s Move? For those that can’t grow a mustache (and those that can), everyone can help to raise awareness and money for male health issues by pledging to exercise EVERY SINGLE DAY during the month of November.  You can help raise money and awareness AND feel great!

If you would like to sign up, donate to, or find out more information about Movember and/or Move (and Team Nanjing), please talk to Mr. Fischl, Mr. Buhler, or visit

Parents, students, and teachers are all welcome to join! Moustache

It’s Back!

That’s right! Homework Club is a go for today (Monday)! Get over those “Discover China Week is finished” blues in style!

If you need help, a variety of teachers will be there to assist you on your assignments, help you prepare for assessments, and basically work with you on anything else you are confused about in the Learning Support area at 3:15.

Everyone is welcome!

Sharpen Those Razors

It is getting close to that time of the year again.  Little hairs are slowly preparing to start covering the lips of men around the world. In 24 Days, Movember 2015 is set to begin.

Movember is more than just a bunch of men looking stunningly handsome for one month of the year, it is about raising awareness and money to help find solutions to a variety of men’s health issues.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a Mo Bro or a Mo Sista – Movember is for everyone. There are two ways to participate: sign up to grow a moustache for 30 days, and/or take the MOVE challenge and get active every day for 30 days.

If you’d like to learn more about the important work and impact the Movember Foundation is having please visit:

If you’d like to get involved and join Team Nanjing, please visit

Parents, Teachers, and Students are welcome to join the team. If you can’t grow an amazing moustache, take the MOVE challenge and exercise every day during the month of Movember (November).
