Who’s who

The human resources element has been a crucial component in addressing the expanded needs of a large and diverse community, and consists of:

  1. IT Director, with overall responsibility for infrastructure and service provision
  2. Technology Integrators (full time – Tom), responsible for supporting teacher and student learning.
  3. A second Integrator has a .5 timetable allowance for this role (Emily)
  4. Four additional technicians provide support in the following areas:
    1. Shi Xia: Veracross, Website, Printing
    2. York: Servers, Printing, Network, telephones
    3. Cindy: Veracross, Learning support for students, teachers, & parents
    4. Eric, 1st level support, projectors, printers, MacBooks software issues
  5. Solution Keys takes care of Apple the store and school’s repair service center
    1. Ms. Cassie takes care of the Apple store helping with quick fixes
    2. Wind takes care of hardware repairs
Apple Store

NIS set up an Apple Center in our school, geographically located right in the middle of the school in the busiest corridor possible. This shop is the first line of support for any problem before, during, or after school. The shop stocks hard drives, cases, bags, ear buds, computer memory, and sells iPods, Time Capsules for backups, many items that keep our outsourced company employee quite busy.
