Should you choose to purchase a new iPad though our school supplier, Solution Keys, when you leave NIS you may be eligible for “buy-back” at book value. NIS recommends SolutionKeys for the ease of purchase for iPads. Guardians and students are welcome to buy iPads from any dealer as long as the devices fit the specifications listed above.
The iPad case that NIS specifies can be purchased through this link on Taobao.com. This case has been tested by NIS staff and students for the past two years and has proven to have an excellent ergonomic design, which is also highly durable and functional.
The protective film for the glass, available at the link above could help with the screen being scratched or broken.
In the unlikely event that an iPad should go permanently missing during the school day when under the care of our teachers, NIS would provide a replacement device that meets NIS recommendations:
– max. 64 GB
– iPad mini 2
Parents would need to provide the serial number and date of purchase.
