On 23-25 Aug we expect up to 19 Pfrang Students (13 girls and 6 boys) to visit Nanjing and NIS. The students have just graduated from High school and some of them will be attending university in Nanjing. This trip is being organised in conjunction with Amity and the Pfrang Association. NIS has a very long association with the Pfrang Association, and has been a key supporter of their sponsorship of students-in-need in Northern Jiangsu province. This trip will be a major advance in NIS’ engagement with the Chinese community and provide the first real opportunity for the NIS community to engage with the students it has supported over many years. NIS students will have the opportunity to interact with the students on Wed Aug 23 and we are hoping to offer homestay for the students on evenings of Wed 23rd and Thurs 24th of Aug.
