When we view these flags through a mathematical lens we can see patterns, shapes, symmetry, angles, transformations, lines, curves and functions. In this webinar we will learn how flags can engage students in mathematical curiosity, discourse, and the effective use of various forms of technology. Connecting mathematics to the design of flags has an additional and intentional benefit – students learn more about the world and they become global citizens. Others unfortunately experienced declining enrollment as expatriate families did not return. In both circumstances, schools can plan more successfully to sustain and build demand and to strengthen the foundations of enrollment management through powerful stakeholder engagement.
