Week 2 of the Giving Tree drive is coming to a close and of the 270 Cards available, over 220 have been claimed!! That means we have less than 50 left to sell and the contests for Homeroom/Advisory Pizza Parties are heating up. In the Primary, it’s anyone’s party for the taking as two homerooms, 5A Ms. Bartholomew and EYPreK/K1A Ms. Orteza are tied with 6 cards apiece, but four other Homerooms are just behind them, having bought 4 cards each. In the Secondary, the competition for giving is fierce, as Mr. Burton’s Gr8 Advisory has taken an early lead with 18 cards bought. Not to be counted out is Mr. McHugh’s Gr7 with 16 cards. In 3rd Place at the moment, but still within striking distance, is the ever-dangerous Ms. Chen’s Gr8 lurking and ready to make a late push.
