VIDEO REVIEW 2024/2025 EVENT CALL-OUT

Dear Teachers,
Video Review is back again this year with a new crew of enthusiastic videographers.
Our role is to film certain events at school for inclusion in the End of Year wrap Up. Sometimes (sparingly) we are available for bespoke edits for broadcast elsewhere.
At this stage of the year we gather all events proposed for filming. This list is then set and we ask that it not be added to as the year progresses. This is so we can manage the workload and properly plan for availability if videographers.
If you have an event that you truly believe needs sharing with the school community at the end of the year please add it to the link HERE.
To speak plainly (and apologies for casting aspersions early on!) please consider these requests in the context of the school community, not by department need or personal desires. The VR kids are often required to come in on weekends to film so we try to mitigate this as much as possible to preserve their free time, as well as always helping them to maintain a balanced school/home life.
Examples of the events we commonly film are sports tournaments (at NIS); Primary & Secondary Productions; Discover China (Secondary); Athletics Days etc. Please note that Video Review are not available for assemblies, save for CNY Assembly.
We will review the list once finished, confirm the events that made the cut, and gently let down those that don’t 😉. The link will expire next Friday the 13th Sept.
Thanks for your understanding and look forward to this year’s events!
