PLD Tag – Starts Tomorrow!

PLD Tag is BACK!

As part of our Professional Learning Week, we are excited to announce the return of an epic two-day round of PLD Tag! This is a fantastic opportunity to have some fun, engage with and get to know your colleagues, and determine who the best tagger at NIS is!

How to Play:

We will play two games:

  1. Bingo Tag on Thursday: You will receive a bingo card in your email with names to tag. Print or draw up your card on a piece of recycled paper. Once you tag someone, they must sign your card. The first three to return a fully completed card to me will win a prize (thanks Social Committee) and gain an advantage in Game 2.
  2. Elimination Tag on Friday: After Bingo Tag on Thursday, we will transition to a new round of Elimination Tag. You will receive a name to tag via email. Write the full name down on a scrap piece of paper and once you tag that person, they will provide you with the name of the person they were trying to tag. This continues until we have a winner. Please note that once you are tagged, you are out of the game. Ruben Joyner is our current defending champion and one to watch out for!

 Rules of the Game:

  • Tagging Hours: Tagging is permitted anywhere on the school campus from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, except during meetings or workshops, which are designated safe zones. Once players leave a meeting room, it’s on!
  • Tagging Method: Tagging can only occur on the shoulder, and the tagger MUST say “Tag” for it to count. In PE, we have a very special rule that we always trust the tagger. In the unlikely event of two players tagging each other at the same time, the diplomatic strategy of Rock Paper Scissors can be employed to settle the score!
  • Post-Tagging: Once tagged, you are eliminated and must provide the paper slip name of the person you were meant to tag at that time (to the person who tagged you)

Sign-up will close at 4 pm today (don’t miss out!)
