First Response Session

As mentioned in yesterday’s Monday briefing, we will hold an optional session to review actions and protocols for Emergency First Response situations. The session will take place in LGR 1 afterschool at 2:45pm. If you feel unsure about how to respond in these situations, we strongly encourage you to attend. Our goal is to help everyone feel confident and prepared to act effectively in emergencies.

Benefits of Regular Brain Breaks for Students

Incorporating regular brain breaks into our learning spaces can significantly enhance student engagement and learning. These short periods of movement, exercise, or play help students regain focus, improve memory retention, and reduce stress levels. By allowing our students the opportunity to step away from their desks, we promote better physical health and foster social interactions, creating a more dynamic and collaborative learning environment.

Here is a simple infographic showing the power of brain breaks and how they can support our student’s overall well-being and academic success.
