Join Us for Safer Internet Day – February 11, 2025!

Nanjing International School is proud to join people in more than 100 countries in celebrating Safer Internet Day on February 11, 2025. This global initiative reminds us that the internet belongs to all of us. No single person, government, or company owns it, which means we all share the responsibility of making it a safer, better place for everyone.

How Can You Get Involved?

We’re excited to kick off a 7-week Safer Internet Challenge to celebrate and extend the impact of Safer Internet Day! This global initiative promotes safer, more responsible use of online technology, empowering students with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world confidently and responsibly.

What is the 7-Week Challenge?
Each week, we will focus on a key online safety topic, providing one simple activity that you can integrate into your lessons. These activities are designed to be engaging, flexible, and impactful, ensuring students develop critical digital literacy skills.

Weekly Topics Include:
✅ Week 1: Introduction to Safer Internet Day (Pledge Week!)
✅ Week 2: Generative AI & Digital Content
✅ Week 3: Online Civility & Respect
✅ Week 4: Addressing Cyberbullying
✅ Week 5: Digital Well-being & Self-Respect
✅ Week 6: Identifying Scams & Online Threats
✅ Week 7: Media Literacy & Critical Thinking
