Week 1: Introduction to Safer Internet Day (SID)
Objective: Introduce students to the significance of SID and the importance of online safety.
Activity: Class Discussion & Pledge Creation
- Discussion Points:
- What is Safer Internet Day?
- Why is online safety important?
- How can we contribute to a safer internet?
- Activity: Students collaboratively create a “Safer Internet Pledge” outlining commitments to positive online behavior.
We encourage teachers to take time out of their schedules to explore and discuss internet safety with students. Whether it’s a classroom discussion, an interactive activity, or a student-led project, every effort helps promote responsible online behavior.
