Week 1: Introduction to Safer Internet Day (SID)

Objective: Introduce students to the significance of SID and the importance of online safety.

Activity: Class Discussion & Pledge Creation

  • Discussion Points:
    • What is Safer Internet Day?
    • Why is online safety important?
    • How can we contribute to a safer internet?
  • Activity: Students collaboratively create a “Safer Internet Pledge” outlining commitments to positive online behavior.

We encourage teachers to take time out of their schedules to explore and discuss internet safety with students. Whether it’s a classroom discussion, an interactive activity, or a student-led project, every effort helps promote responsible online behavior.
