A Steadicam Merlin is missing from the Design Centre (see photos).

Please return Design Centre equipment

Throughout the year, faculty, staff and students have been borrowing equipment from the Design Centre.

Equipment includes cameras (Canon SX20 IS, Nikon Coolpix P100), tripods, SD cards, card-readers, tools from the workshop, etc.

Please return any such equipment as soon as possible so an inventory can be taken for this school year.

Studio Headphones Missing

A pair of AKG K701 reference headphones, identical to the ones pictured below, are missing from the Design Centre studio control room.

Would the person or persons who removed them please return them immediately.

Zoom H4n recorder

A Zoom H4n handheld digital audio recorder (labeled HR02) has been missing from the Design Centre for some time. Would the person who has it please return it as soon as possible.

Three first prizes at Flux Film Festival

NIS students submitted twelve films to the Flux Film Festival in Beijing and all twelve were shortlisted. The following three films produced by NIS students won first prize in their respective categories at the award ceremonies in Beijing at the weekend:

High School Documentary Film Category: “The Design Centre” by Kostya Tyoschin, Danique van Bremen & Willy Wang
