IMPORTANT CHANGE to Volunteering Experiences

From Monday, Feb 26th, volunteering must take place OUTSIDE of the school day.

Choosing to volunteer outside of required school hours shows that you are committed to a cause. The fact that you are willing to give your time and effort voluntarily means you are dedicated and passionate about the cause.

However, it’s essential to remember that skipping your French class, for example, to volunteer might not be the best choice. Education is important, and missing classes can affect your learning. It’s crucial to find a balance between your commitments to make sure you succeed both academically and meet the service requirements.

So, scorekeeping on Thursday and Friday during the day DOES NOT count for volunteering.

If you choose one of these options, the Activities Office will choose the time. BUT IT STILL DOESN’T COUNT FOR VOLUNTEERING.
