How to Submit Cigna & CMB Claims During Shanghai Lockdown
Dear overseas staff,
Here below is a message from OWC.
Best wishes,
Clara

As you are probably aware, Cigna & CMB’s Shanghai office is currently closed, meaning that they are unable to receive hard copy claims documents that are sent to their office. There are still a couple of ways for members to submit mainland China-based claims, as follows:
- By email – Rmb3,000 limit. Please note that this limit is linked to the fapiao value. If the total cost of your visit was for more than Rmb3,000 but you were issued several fapiaos with an amount of less than Rmb3,000, you can still submit your claim by email. Please complete the attached Medical Claim Form, and print, sign and scan/take a picture of the completed form. If your treating doctor has not completed section D then make sure to include copies of the medical report and/or medical notes with your claim. Be sure to scan/take a picture of all supporting documents – fapiao, medical records, itemized breakdown, etc. There is a useful checklist on the last page of the claim form.
- By the Cigna & CMB Perfect Life app – Rmb10,000 limit. Please note that this limit is linked to the fapiao value. If the total cost of your visit was for more than Rmb10,000 but you were issued several fapiaos with an amount of less than Rmb10,000, you can still submit your claim using this app. You will also find attached three documents introducing Perfect Life app: Introduction Flyer (as a PDF and a JPG, so it can be easily sent over WeChat), Registration Guide and User Guide. The app can be downloaded from the iPhone App Store. Android phone users can download the app here (or by scanning the QR code in the attached registration guide). If you are having problems downloading and/or registering for the app, please contact Cigna & CMB (groupcare@cignacmb.com / 400 820 0955) or let Gouri (gdattawadkar@oneworldcover.com) know in reply.
Please note that any claims that are not from mainland China (for treatment overseas) can be sent by email, using the Cigna & CMB Perfect Life app or via Cigna Envoy (both the website and the app – scroll to the bottom of the page for links to download the app).
