The Music Evening tech rehearsal will run from 3:15 – 5:15. All performers are required to attend so they know when to enter the stage, what audio will be needed, etc. If there are any scheduling problems with athletics, please check your performing order with Miss Keus or Ms. Heidi to see whether you can come later or leave earlier.
Your supervising teachers will be:
Miss Keus & Ms. Heidi – running rehearsal
Ms. Patrick – backstage
Mr. Brown – tech
This year’s Music Evening has been changed to Tuesday, April 26, and will start at 7:00 p.m.
It’s going to be a good mixture of classical and contemporary. For example, we’ll have three orchestras and four rock bands. We’ll also have plenty of soloists and duets, from a grade 5 trio all the way up to grade 9 guitar duets. Some of these events will be teacher-directed, but most of the concert will be pieces that students have put together themselves.
Please come out and support our NIS musicians.
Ms Creme is now in the lead but only just. Felicity has knocked Mr. Fischl into last place. He is feeling far too safe, only you can change that. We will be collecting at break and lunch each day with the haircut happening on Friday out on the podium by the field. Who will win a wonderful haircut? Only you can decide that.
I am looking for volunteers for break and lunch each day to help. Please email me if you can help.
Dear all, the scheduled LC meeting will be on Apr.29th @12.55pm in Board Meeting Room at the Centre.( H303 )
Welcome to join us and share your feedback with the committee.
Wow Ms. Creme is closing the gap on Noah and Sophie has moved into third place. There is still time to chose Felicity of Mr. Fischl. I would love to see Felicity with a purple and green mohawk – but then I am colorblind. We will be collecting your donations at break and lunch today and again next week – who will win the haircut they have been dreaming about?Fourth Hair today poster

The link below will only offer you these choices. Ensure that you do not accidentally sign up for the same event twice in the Free Choice event or you will be assigned an event by the organisers and you may not like it.

With Wutaishan’s win in the PYP Beat the Goalie competition last week and Xuanwu’s win in yesterday’s Gr6 – 8 Basketball, the race for the House Shield is as close as it has ever been in living memory! Here are the current scores.
Next events are the PYP and MYP/DP Athletics Days next week and they count for big points so are crucial to all houses.
Volunteers are asked to feed dangerous and hungry animals (Grade 12’s). There will be special training as there is high risk involved in this job.
Please sign up on Veracross before tonight.
The Charities taking part in Spring Fun Day would like some helpers during Day on Sat April 30th. You will be required to help for about 1-2 hours sometime from 9.ooam-2.00pm. Please sign-up on Veracross. More details available from Mr Underwood.
Noah is in the lead but Ms Creme is not safe yet. Mr Fischl has dropped into fourth place – I want to see him bald so come on lets make it happen. On the other hand Felicity would look great with a mohawk. There is a new ‘volunteer’, Sophie Runte, and she is being a HUGE risk taker and could end up being bald if you chose her.
Collections each break and lunch outside of the library. We will keep collecting until Friday 29th April.
All funds raised go to Ray of Light Cambodia.

A great start. Noah is in the lead with 93rmb – have a look at the attached to see how the others are doing. We now have one last ‘volunteer’ from the PYP :).
We are planning on setting up an Official NIS student twitter group. Members of this group will be given training in how to responsibly use twitter to inform the wider community of NIS activities. If you are interested and would like to undertake some training sessions and become a mouthpiece for NIS then please email me. What a great way to help your community!
G6-11 helpers are wanted to help with the Charity Haircut activities over the next two weeks. If you have time before school, at break, at lunchtime or after school please see Mr Underwood.
