Attention all “Teenage Super Brains”, do you want to be on TV ???

Following the success of the recent NIS BattleBOTS Tournament, Jiangsu TV has reached out and invited Nanjing International School to be part of their “Super Brain Teens” Reality TV Show.   The show is about teenage students working together as a team to complete various technology-based challenges.

So, if you are between the ages of 11 and 17, feel confident with coding and hands on skills like building Lego Robots and have an interest in Science and Technology, then here’s your big chance to be on TV doing something really cool.

If you are interested, come and see Mr Brady in the Design Centre for an application form.   If you are selected, Jiangsu TV will pay for all costs including special training, meals and accommodation. Training starts around June 20th and Filming starts around July 4th.

Deadlines for applications closes next Wednesday on May 25th so don’t miss out.

Moveathon – LAST Day for Donations! – Thank you in advance :)

On Wednesday May 4th (be with you)  Everyone from PreK – G11  moved around the track for 25 minutes alongside different Grade levels as a community.
Many students wore their house shirts and made an active contribution to the event, racking up the kilometres. Students/teachers wearing a house shirt walked/ran over 811km! Fantastic effort.
Also a BIG thank you to our wonderful PTA for providing delicious healthy snacks for everyone!
This years Moveathon  supported two related charities: We Walk With You Parkinson’s foundation (UN Goal #3 – Health and Wellbeing) and the Pechersk School International (UN Goal #16 – Peace and Social Justice).
Students, parents, and staff may participate in this fundraising through an optional donation. Our suggested amount is 25 RMB. Please scan below if you are interested in supporting these causes.
Thank you in advance for showing your house and community spirit to move in support of 2 wonderful charities.
