G8-10 Bead Art Volunteers (10 students)

Mondays: We need 2 volunteers per session to help with Bead Art. It is essential that you fine motor skills for threading beads and tying knots.

G6-10 Wednesday Weeders (10 students, weekly sign-up)

Wednesday Weeders: We need people to help maintain the garden. Clean the plots, pick weeds, water the crops, build bird houses etc.

G7-9 Livestream Team (6 students)

We are creating a team to help Livestream events at NIS. We want to share video content in real-time just like on television. We are looking to train 6 students to take on the responsibility of showcasing our events to the world. The first meeting and training session will be this Wednesday, April 20th with Dr Doak in the PAC. Sign up on Veracross if you are willing to learn a new skill. You must be available to “work” a few events a year depending on the activities. Actual days will vary.

G6-8 Rollerblade Volunteers (15 students)

We need 3 volunteers per session on Thursdays to help primary school students put on their protective gear and help them up when they fall. No need for volunteers to know how to skate or to ride a skateboard. But if  you can do can skate, please bring along your equipment do so.

Secondary MAP Testing Starts Tomorrow!

Hello Grade 6-10 Students,

Please see the spring MAP Testing Schedule here. We will plan to test in the 3rd Floor Centre Large Group Room and keep the same plan as in the fall, with two blocks set aside for each test.

We will begin tomorrow (Tuesday) with Grade 9 Maths in the large room on the 3rd floor Centre.

Please arrive for testing with a charged laptop and a focused mind.

DP Art Exhibition (4/12 noon – 4/15 3PM)

Dear G7-12 faculty/staff & students,

You are cordially invited to visit the DP Art Exhibition with your class during school hours this week starting from noon today (Tuesday, April 12). The exhibition is the culmination of hard work over two years under the IB Diploma Visual Arts course and we would love for you to come celebrate the Grade 12 artists’ amazing artistic achievements at your convenience.

P.S. While you’re there, please make sure to check out the beautiful artworks created by our G11 artists (from their own personal collections).

P.P.S. We have not forgotten you, our treasured DP parents and Primary-G6 students/faculty members; we regret not having you on-campus to celebrate with us in person, but we have plans to document the exhibition in video / photography format to share with you soon.

NAT Testing at School This Week

Hello Grade 7-12 Students,

Government regulations now require us to complete NAT testing for 50% of all on-campus students each day. To accomplish this, healthcare workers will conduct daily testing in the Green GYM between 9:05 and 9:40am.

Students in Grades 7-9 will test on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week and Grades 10-12 on Tuesday and Thursday. We will follow the timings below:
