Cafe Closed, Cafeteria Open

Welcome back Grade 7-12 Students,

Please note that the cafeteria is the place to be for break and lunch this week. Since the cafe is closed and off-campus lunching is a no-no, please enjoy your break and lunchtime experience in the lovely NIS cafeteria. Bask in the sunshine on the patio, enjoy the plentiful options in the Deli Marche, select from the variable cornucopia of dining options. See you there!

Every Day is Monday… Sort of…

Hello Grade 7-12 Students.

This week we will follow the same daily schedule each day. Our normal Monday, Wednesday, Thursday timings will also apply Tuesday and Friday. This also means that we will have a 3:00pm dismissal on Tuesday this week.

ISTA and GCD for G9-11s

Dear All,
We are mighty pleased to announce our partner online festival between the GCD Consortium and the ISTA Performing Arts Academy.
Spread over 3 weekends, it will be a multiverse (online) process filled with fun challenges exploring the concept of multi-identity and values to create ‘stories to save the world’ with a variety of drama and film techniques under the leadership of ISTA Artists.
Who
Theatre and Music students aged 14-18 from all GCD schools
We’re looking for up to 10 students per school!
Purpose
  • Come together, connect and create
  • Explore identity and what matters most
  • Racing against time, participants will collaborate creatively while developing strong connections
  • Find out what really matters to our young people and the world
 
Culminating International Film Premier
Sunday 29th May 18.30 (Hong Kong time)
Fees
At just GBP90 per student, this is not to be missed. You can use your ACAMIS subsidy if you have not already used it.
It will be an unforgettable experience!

GCD opportunity for G 9-11!

Only 10 students per school can participate in this ONLINE photography course. There is a small registration fee of 50 USD. The deadline is March 11th to sign up on Veracross.

You could easily use this experience as the basis of one of your GCD stories.

Please ask your SA teacher for photos that you can use for evidence.
