Due to the ACAMIS Badminton tournament, Primary students will not be able to be picked up from the Green Gym on Thursday and Friday afternoon this week. Children who usually go to the Green Gym should be taken/go to the lobby, where parents will meet them. I will inform parents. Can HR teachers also please communicate this to parents of children who are usually collected from the Green Gym.
Five students (Suin, Rosy, Kirsten, Lizzie and Jiansen) will be absent from school from Wednesday the 17th to Wednesday the 24th.
They are participating in the Common Ground Summit hosted by our sister GCD school in Hawaii.

We are switching to an E-request system (electronic reimbursement system).The system would replace our current White Form procedure.

Dear NIS
We are three 5th graders working on a project for our PYPX. As a part of our action, we are going to run a Sugar Challenge. This challenge is to stop eating added sugar. The NIS Sugar Challenge will begin on April 15th, 2024. The specific rules of the challenge are as follows,
Students in grades 1-3: (With parent and teacher’s help) try not to eat extra sugar for 2 days.
Students in grades 4-12: Try not to eat extra sugar for 5 days.
Teachers: Try not to eat extra sugar for 5 days.
As a reward, you will get a sugar-free but sweet cookie.
