This unit consists of two works for all students:

‘Great Expectations’ by Charles Dickens

AND

‘Antigone’ by Jean Anouilh OR  ‘Persepolis’ by Marjane Satrapi (Text in Translation)

Higher Level students will also study ‘Death of a Salesman’ by Arthur Miller.

‘The Catcher in the Rye’ was also studied, but has now been discontinued. But it is highly recommended as an excellent read.

This unit will be assessed through the Paper 2 exam in May of your final year. You may also submit Written Tasks based on these works.
