Message to PYP Student Council
Angele, PYP Student Council president and Fiona, vice-president, as well as the few responsible SC members would like to remind all of the members of our PYP Student Council that they meet every Wednesday at 1:20 sharp. They have decided that the meetings will last for only 15 minutes. If there are many items to be discussed, people will have the choice to leave at 1:35 or stay.

Our ISP is performing network maintenance, today, Wednesday March 2nd. Internet will be off for one hour.

JAKARTA UPDATE
Last week, you might recall, we sent cards of support to the cleaners at JIS who are in prison convicted of a crime which did not happen. Since then, teachers Neil Bantleman and Ferdi Tjeong, who were acquitted of the same crime some months ago, had their acquittal overruled. Neil and Ferdi are now back in prison. CANADIANS, if you would like to take action, attached is a link to a letter which Neil’s brother Guy suggests that you might use (whole or in part or as basis for your own letter) to your Member of Parliament. Welcome to Winnie Cheng, PreK TA
Our PreK enrolment is increasing! In order to support the needs in the classroom we have hired Winnie Cheng as a new TA in PreK. Winnie comes to us from Teletubbies Early Education Centre in Nanjing. Please welcome Winnie on her first day Wednesday, March 2.

Accidental Theatre Audition Date Change
Please note – the audition dates have changed for the up-coming ‘Black Comedy’ auditions.
