Student Council Retreat

Hello –

This Friday the Student Council (Grades 6-11) will hold its annual retreat from 8:45 – 12 in Room 302A in the Centre. Students will miss blocks 1-3 on Friday, August 21. A final list of students will be shared in the next day (a runoff election is required for Grade 10 as there were too many interested candidates). Thank you so much for your flexibility in excusing the new Student Council members from their classes on Friday morning as they plan for the year ahead.

Lunch 1 – Blue Gym use

Hi MS/US students we are going to make a couple of changes regarding the use the of blue gym at lunchtimes. (Week 2 – Week 8)

Days 1, 3, 5, 7 will be volleyball and indoor football

Days 2, 4, 6, 8 will be badminton

This is due to the high demand for space and interest in these activities.

YOU will be responsible in setting up/putting equipment away and looking after everything (some damage has happened recently to badminton racquets)

If this does not work then the blue gym will NOT be available for use by the MS/US students until further notice.

Please support your community with this new arrangement and you are always welcome in the gym to socialise and be physically active.
