Learn how to make friendship bracelets.
Open to all students in G6-12.
Come to Lunch 2 on either Wednesdays or Thursdays.
You can keep the bracelet for yourself or you can give to a friend or if you need a volunteering experience, you can make 6 bracelets to sell at the Christmas Benefit Concert.

Grade 11 Service Project!
Part 1: Clothing Collection Nov 22nd – Dec 10th
Donate clean clothing in good condition. Collection boxes will be set up in the Centre Foyer and near Ms Anna’s classroom (D229) from Nov 24th – Dec 17th. We are collecting pants, shirts sweaters, t-shirts, coats for children, teenagers and adults.
Volunteering – Global Significance Outcome #6
We might have the opportunity to build shelters for homeless cats and dogs.
This is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 4 from 1.30 – 4.30 pm.

Pfrang Giving Tree
The annual Pfrang-charity “Giving Tree” gift-cards are available each morning in the centre foyer. For 100 RMB, staff members, students, and parents can help the 310 Chinese students whom NIS is sponsoring afford to attend school. Students, either as classes or Advisory groups, are encouraged to “go in” together on a card and to pay in cash. Please respond charitably to the members of the Pfrang service group as they solicit donations for this worthy cause. Volunteers!!!! Dec 5th – Bakers
The Pfrang Association needs donations of baked good for the December 5th Bake Sale.
You would do the baking at home on Saturday the 4th or the morning of Sunday the 5th. Please bake 2 dozen cookies or a cake. NO NUTS.
The baked goods need to be brought to school on Sunday, December 5th at 1pm.
The students must do the baking, not the parents, not the ayis and definitely not the shops!

We are seeking expressions of interest for workshop presenters for the following events coming up over the next year and a half.
Combined ELC/ETC Teacher and Leadership Conference 2022
March 22-26, 2022 | Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand
The focus of this special event will include the subject groups in the strand that was scheduled for March 2021 (modern languages, librarians, media technology, counselors, SENIA, EAL, Early Childhood, literacy and reading), as well as critical topics on leadership
*Note that it is still unclear if this conference will go ahead due to COVID. In addition, China’s quarantine measures could restrict workshop leaders from travelling. Virtual workshop delivery options may be an option.
