Hello NIS Students,
On Friday, January 21st we will plan to start the school day at 10:00am so that our your teachers can participate in an important workshop to support our efforts to promote Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) in our school community. This work is based on your voices and inputs from last semester. This work is led by two external consultants based in the United States.
This workshop was initially planned for December 10th but has been rescheduled for January 21st. This means school will run as normal this Friday. We will communicate more details after the Winter Break about the schedule for the 21st, but you should expect an identical arrival protocol, including busing, happening on a two-hour delay on that date.
