Hello NIS Authors,
Our annual ISA writing assessments will start this week and continue into next. Remember that ISAs are made up of two writing samples, one narrative (writing a short story based on a prompt) and one expository (a mini essay write also based on a prompt). These happen in your usual English classes for all students in Grades 5-10 and take about 45 minutes each.
The results of these assessments help you, your parents, and teachers know more how and where your writing is improving. Please take a look at the schedule here and see your English teacher with any questions.
