One benefit of our CIS/WASC/IB self-study is the leadership opportunities the school improvement process provides. Our self-study will require a number of domain chairpersons who take the lead in facilitating the work of domain-specific committees. The work of the committee chair is below:
- become familiar with sections of the process relevant to the committee’s domain,
- become familiar with the Planning & Reporting Platform,
- review the Preparatory report and identifying progress on recommendations,
- collect the data and analysis from Part 1 and Domain A of the Self-study report,
- assign responsibility for entering the response and uploading evidence, and
- assign responsibility for reviewing the final draft for coherence and spelling/grammar.
