Hello All,

All staff are currently required to receive two NAT tests between Monday and Friday. This means a combination of the Monday all-school test and one other.

The second test can be done at school, in our communities, or a clinic. Testing at school is scheduled each Monday from 8:30-10:30am and 8:30am-9:30am each day. The usual location will be the PAC Foyer, except on Fridays when it will be held in the EY Cafeteria. Staff are welcome to drop in during any of these times for a quick test.

Secondary Student Council – Presidential Elections!

All Secondary Students will be able to vote for their top choice next Monday, August 19 during Advisory. Once the Co-Presidents are elected we will begin the process of forming our Student Council for 2022-2023!

The Learning Support team will share weekly tips for teachers to implement in the classroom. We hope you find them useful. If you have any particular need, reach to us, we are here for the whole community!

One benefit of our CIS/WASC/IB self-study is the leadership opportunities the school improvement process provides. Our self-study will require a number of domain chairpersons who take the lead in facilitating the work of domain-specific committees. The work of the committee chair is below:

• become familiar with sections of the process relevant to the committee’s domain, 
• become familiar with the Planning & Reporting Platform, 
• review the Preparatory report and identifying progress on recommendations, 
• collect the data and analysis from Part 1 and Domain A of the Self-study report, 
• assign responsibility for entering the response and uploading evidence, and 
• assign responsibility for reviewing the final draft for coherence and spelling/grammar.
