Please view the SY2324 Draft BTT ROTA and today will be the day teachers do individual swaps if needed and please email Zhang Bo of the changes for the Final BTT ROTA.

All Staff are requested to be on their BTT spot on time, please arrange with your team to ensure you are ready for your BTTs.

All BTTs are starting Day 1, Tuesday, August 15th.

Please join us in the PAC from 3:00pm today for food, beverages, and fun as we take some time to celebrate the start of what promises to be an exciting year ahead. See you there!

Teachers will responsibilities during a fire evacuation have been notified by email this morning. Teachers that are not responsible for a group will gather on the PAC-end of the running track during an evacuation. All drills are communicated in advance, so please treat any other alarm as the real thing. There are no changes to this procedure from previous years. Please see Kasson with any questions. Coming Up

–Today, August 10^th :

Please look at the  ROTA and see what’s best based on your schedule.

–Friday, August 11^th:

A shared link will be active at 13:00 after lunch. Staff will be able to sign their names down for two BTT slots ONLY via the link based on their schedule. Or, if you do not want to,  Zhang Bo will finalize the ROTA by assigning other BTT slots.

–Monday, August 14^th:

The draft BTT Rota will be shared with all staff to view, and if you would like to do the individual swaps with others, please communicate your swap and inform Zhang Bo.

–Tuesday, August 15^th

BTT Day 1 schedule starts running.

Welcome and welcome back everyone!

Our traditional community breakfast will start this morning at 8:00am in the Cafeteria. We will also introduce our new colleagues at this time. Our all-faculty school year launch will then begin in the PAC at 9:00am. Please see the schedule in Sara and Jacqui’s weekly messages for more information.

Today (Thursday) you will notice listening circles on the schedule.

Please see the plan below. RETURNING faculty should attend the session that corresponds to your role. New-to-NIS educators will participate when Shelley and Jacinta return later in the fall, so please use this time as you see fit. Members of the Operations Team should see the message from Holly for their listening circle location.

Faculty Listening Circle Schedule: Thursday, August 10th

We will plan to launch School Year 2023-24 tomorrow (Thursday) morning with our traditional community breakfast from 8:00am in the cafeteria followed by a session with Shelley and Jacinta in the PAC from 9:00am. Please see the schedule in weekly messages from Sara and Jacqui for details of our professional learning days. Many thanks!

Pop by the Cafeteria tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at 3:00pm to meet our new-to-NIS colleagues! The 3D versions of Shelley and Jacinta will be there too, along with light snacks and drinks. Also an opportunity to check out the changes to campus from over the holiday. The is an adults-only event as students are not yet allowed on campus. Hope to see everyone there!
