We are hosting the last of our Variety Show Auditions today. Can HR teachers let students know that parents will receive an email this afternoon letting them know who was successful. Secondary Report Reminders
Good morning everyone,
Quick reminder that report comments (advisory for Grades 6-12 and academic for G12) are due to Proofreaders tomorrow. Please check Sunday’s bulletin for full guidance and proofreading trios.
Also, in the bulletin, I neglected to include information about the Subject Specific Skills mark for this report. Remember that on this report only, in addition to the ATL Skill marks, there is a Subject Specific Skills mark. Because there is no academic grade on this report, this mark gives an indication of how the student is doing in your class on the subject specific skills that you have been developing. As with all the marks, please ensure as a teaching team/department that you are interpreting those levels the same way across classes.
Thank you! Sara
Primary – Literacy Room
Shout Out and Huge Thanks to Anna Guo, Amina, Allison, Ray and Qunisha for all of their work sorting and organising our reading resources. The Literacy Room is beginning to take shape, and still requires a little more work. This team will be off-class on Friday afternoon, from 12.00, to continue working on this.
As part of the process of sorting through the books, we have removed many books from the shelves. These are currently on the tables in The Hub. These books will be available for teachers to ‘pick through’ and take to classrooms to supplement classroom libraries at the following times.
Thursday 3.15pm – Friday 1pm: Teachers visit the library and collect any books they want for their classrooms
Friday 1pm – 3pm All staff welcome to take any leftover books (these can be taken home)
Friday 3pm All remaining books will be removed

🗓️ Upcoming PLD Schedule
We are excited to announce our upcoming Professional Learning Days (PLD) on October 8th and 9th, themed: Wander & Wonder: Designing Dynamic Learning. This event will place a strong emphasis on Literacy & Language as well as Learning Spaces.
We are particularly delighted to welcome Ewan McIntosh from NoTosh, along with Philip and Chloe, the architects of The Hub. Throughout the week, they will engage with various stakeholders and continue our collaborative efforts to explore how we can integrate our learning spaces, especially The Hub, into our mission, strategy, and learning practices.
Here is the schedule for our two PLD days. The first page is an overview, and scrolling down will bring you to the section specific details for the two days.
We look forward to an inspiring and transformative experience for all participants!
