Early this week, MAP and ISA results will be shared in a new way. We are trialing a system in which these results will be emailed directly to parents. This is to maintain an added degree of confidentiality, reduce paper consumption, and give parents more control of how these results are shared.
In the communication with parents, we included the reminder that these reports should be viewed as one data point in thier child’s learning progress that we use to inform our teaching and learning and that these reports offer one “snapshot” that is part of a larger “photo album” of each child’s development over time.
Please let Kasson know if any parents have any trouble receiving these reports.
Many thanks to Weiwei for leading this effort!
