Have you meet the volunteering requirement for Semester 2?

We have opportunities listed on SchoolsBuddy:

Scratch Coding – Mondays. If you are interested in working with primary school students and you want to develop creativity and math skills, then sign up to volunteer! This could be your CAS/GCD project if you are in Grade 11.

Swim Meet Timekeeper – Tuesday, Feb 20th 2.40 to approximately 4.30 pm. We need 6 volunteers to accurately and ethically record the times for our amazing swimmers.

ACAMIS Digital Art Challenge – Feb 26th

This challenge is open to students in grades 1 -12! Take part and showcase your skills.

If you would like to submit your work (maximum of one piece per category per student), please contact Ms Anna.

There are some questions to answer when you submitting your work:

  • What is the title of your piece?
  • Explain your creative process behind the work.
  • Please list the software/apps and any prompts used.

Student Activities

Sign-up on SchoolsBuddy opens today for Primary Students at 12.45 pm.

Students in the secondary are able to sign-up all year round. Please check SchoolsBuddy regularly for last minute additions.

Volunteers Needed

The Mandarin department kindly requests six volunteers to join us in decorating the PAC. Please sign up on SchoolsBuddy.

Date: Wednesday, January 31st, 2024

Time: 3:15 pm-4:45 pm 

Place: PAC 

We will decorate the PAC with traditional Lunar New Year decorations. This includes lanterns, red banners, and other symbolic ornaments during this decoration session. Your creativity and enthusiasm will be greatly appreciated as we aim to capture the spirit of this joyous festival.

Spirit Week 2024

Spirit Week at NIS (Jan. 29 – Feb 2) – A Combined PYP/MYPDP Student Council Event

We look forward to your participation in this fun, week-long event, which will culminate with our CNY assemblies on Friday, February 2nd.

Hey students,

Guess what? It’s birthday cupcake time! 🎂 If you celebrated your birthday in January, make sure to swing by and grab your delicious treat.

🍰 Where? Primary students can pick up from the Early Years’ soft play area, while secondary students can snag their cupcakes from in front of the cafeteria.

🕰️ When? Tomorrow during the break from 10:10 AM to 10:30 AM.

👩‍🏫 Staff, you’re not left out! Feel free to grab your cupcakes from either location.
