Inter-House Chess
If you know your Spassky from your Smyslov and your Capablanca from your Carlsen, then the opportunity to shine for your house is fast approaching.
The MYP/DP inter-house chess tournament will be held next Wednesday (October 28th) in D219 (G9-12) & D220 (G6-8).
Teams of four (two boys & two girls) cerebral athletes will compete at break-neck speed to decide which house will become the year’s ‘home of high-brow’.
Contact your House Captains/Leaders if you are interested in playing.
Note, all players are expected to download a chess clock app to their smartphones BEFORE the day of play.
See Mr Battye or Mr Wiggins for more info.

Lost and …
There has been a small amount of money found on the floor in front of my office. If a student (probably PYP) tells you s/he lost some money yesterday, have them come and see me.

Movember and Move begin!
What’s Movember? Movember is a movement where during the month of November, men around the world become more incredibly good looking by the day by growing mustaches to help raise money and awareness for men’s health issues.
What’s Move? For those that can’t grow a mustache (and those that can), everyone can help to raise awareness and money for male health issues by pledging to exercise EVERY SINGLE DAY during the month of November. You can help raise money and awareness AND feel great!
If you would like to sign up, donate to, or find out more information about Movember and/or Move (and Team Nanjing), please talk to Mr. Fischl, Mr. Buhler, or visit http://moteam.co/team-nanjing
