Murder in the Black Box!
The Accidental Theatre Company is sorry to report that a murder has taken place in the Black Box. It’s really rather annoying – there’s blood everywhere! Have you ever tried getting blood out of a carpet? It’s no fun, believe me.
Anyway, the body is as yet unidentified. In fact, it’s still lying there. We’re not entirely sure what to do with an unidentified dead body, actually. Suggestions on a postcard, please.

- Design an eco logo and hand it in to me in C122 (named)
- Design a fun rubbish bin and hand the drawing in to me (named)
- Plan your ‘nude food’ picnic and pack your picnic blanket, torch/flashlight/glow-in-the-dark frisbee etc.
- Remind your parents they are responsible for you
Set-up begins at 2 pm. The event begins at 6pm with the Trashion Show at 6:10pm.

Early Years Event Friday
Early Years Story time & Movie–March 27th 3:00-4:00
The PTA invites students in PreK, K1, K2 and Grade 1 to an after school story time & movie.
Please come to the PAC directly after school on Friday the 27th of March. Students will each receive a juice box and some pop-corn after the movie. No food or drinks are permitted into the theatre. All students will need to be brought to and picked up from the theatre by an adult. The movie will be finished at 4:00pm.

These are the latest reviews to come from those lucky enough to have discovered the top secret rehearsal space of the Accidental Theatre Company as they prepare their ground-breaking, genre-hopping, confoundingly confusing production of Tom Stoppard’s ‘The Real Inspector Hound’.
Tickets are disappearing fast! They are only available from the receptionist in the Centre lobby. Do not be fooled by touts – no other outlet is licensed to sell tickets except this one! Don’t miss the greatest show since…er…since 7th March when the real Ed Sheeran played Chennies! Get your tickets while you still can!
Shows begin at 7pm on the evenings of Wednesday, 1st April and Thursday, 2nd April!
Grade 3 “The Past Influences People’s Lives” exhibition
Grade 3 students will be displaying their posters and model artifacts about Ancient China in the PAC, periods 7 and 8 on Thursday, 26th March. If you are not teaching at that time and are free to come by the children would love to see you. We have invited the parents to come in but there will be some that cannot make it. If you see a “lonely” looking child please ask a few questions about his/her work. We have models of working crossbows, bags of gunpowder, an earthquake detector – it’s worth a visit! Debbie Mills

Grade 8 Displaced People Experience

Subscribe to Veracross Calendars (For Teaching Faculty)
There are lots of useful calendars in Veracross, such as:
- School Calendar: which has all school events
- Faculty Calendar: which includes all school events and other events which you are involved in, such as 3-way conference and class assignments.
- Athletic Calendar: which shows Athletics events
- Class Schedule/Assignment Calendar
You can subscribe to them and without checking veracross, you can check those calendars directly from Apple iCal and popular mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad. The subscribed calendars will automatically update with new events.
Here is how you can subscribe:
1. Open and login Veracross: https://portals.veracross.com/nis/
2. Open Calendar tab on top of the webpage, you will see “SUBSCRIBE” section which list all calendar subscriptions.
3. You will find “My Calendars” subscription and “School Calendars” subscription.
From My Calendars, you can subscribe to faculty calendar, your class schedule calendar and your class assignment calendar.
From School Calendars, you can subscribe to School Calendar, and Athletics Calendars
4. If you want to subscribe to any calendar, please click on the blue “Subscribe” which is at the right side of the calendar to start.
5. After click “Subscribe” you will be prompted to the subscribe window in your default calendar program (usually Apple iCal). Please click on “Subscribe” button
6. Then you can choose what color you want for that calendar and choose the location where you want to save this subscription. But please do make change to the “Auto-refresh” to be “Every 5 minutes” or other frequency rather than “No”. So you can get update if there is any.
