Interhouse Battle of the Bands TODAY!

19 nov r6

Today, 12:30 in the ensemble music room, three bands battle for supremacy! Who will win the Battle of the Bands and bring both glory and points to their houses? With only 15 points between the three, this is a race to the finish (or, should we say, CODA!)

Will it be “A Major Trycicle” who wins? Or Jayla and her mighty pipes? Will Wutaishan’s big band sway the judges? Come find out today!

Grade 4 Maker Expo TODAY!

For the past few weeks in design the Grade 4 students have been preparing for their ‘Maker Expo’ by completing 3 challenges from DIY.org.  Today they are ready to show you the results of all their work – where you will see rockets, chefs, architecture, engineers, cartoons, interior designs, and much much more.

The students have set up their stalls in the PYP Large group room, in the foyer outside the library and outside.

No appointments are necessary – just rock up between 11.15 and 12.45 – you can even bring the students with you!

Thank you for your support, we hope you enjoy it.

The Grade 4 team.

Library trolleys and white tubs

The library is entering a busy time at the end of the year due to deliveries of newly arrived materials and our annual inventory. Please make every effort to return the library and resource room trolleys promptly if you borrow them. Also- we are missing many of our white tubs- thanks for looking around your classroom for any that you might have.

Thanks and have a good week-

Drama in the House Championships!!

The Inter House Drama last week brought a range of high quality and entertaining theatrical performances from all participants. The scores were incredibly close with Taiping and Wutaishan tying for 1st place in the Gr6 – 8 event and Xuanwu winning the Gr9 – 11 event. This means, as we approach the music event on Tuesday, the scores for the House Shield are amazingly tight with two of the Houses tied for 2nd place on 1000 points and the other House just 15 points ahead on 1015. Any House could win the shield this year!! The Music event this week and the Swim Galas will be the deciders.
