Times farm is a permaculture farm right here in Nanjing. James is excited to meet people in the NIS community and would like to collaborate with teachers & students on a variety of projects. Head to the center today to buy some vegetables and meet James.

NIS is hosting the 3rd Service Expo on Monday June 6th. This event highlights some of the Service Activities students do at NIS and other schools. We would still like some more NIS G9-11 students to be involved. This may be interest to G10 students who do not have semester 2 “core” activity or G11 students who would like add a Service activity to their CAS programme. Please contact me if you are interested.
A reminder to Grade 11 students that next week your Advisory teacher will undertake a CAS interview with you. This is a requirement of the IB so that we can document your CAS progress. Please ensure that you have your CAS journal up to date and that you are systematically documenting your achievement of the CAS learning outcomes.
Yes, it is that time of year again where we do a big general call out for any PE equipment that you have borrowed or may have turned up in your rooms or that students have found around the place and ask that you please return it to the PE office. Alternatively, you could email me and I am happy to come and collect any items from you. Ideally I would like to have the inventory list updated next week (Grade 10’s will be out on work week so I have some time), so by the end of this week would be fantastic. If you desperately still need equipment that you currently have out, please let me know asap. Thank you in advance. Let the annual stocktake begin!

Due to our summer vacation, please get me your request forms for current school year 1516, with the budget head’s approval, before Fri, 17 Jun 2016, if you have any.
All request forms arrived after 1 Aug 2016 would not use the current school year budget any more.
