Parent Accreditation Survey

We have had feedback from Endicott that the number of parents that have taken the survey required for accreditation is below what they would normally expect.

If you have not taken the survey yet, please do so today. I am available for assistance at: ruthclarke@nanjing-school.com

Many thanks.

Block 2 today…

Block two today is either quiet study (in advisory groups) or mindfulness (if you signed for it). SO after exams head to the correct destination. This is a change from the published exam schedule, there are no regular classes.

Muscle Needed Friday

We need your help in the garden. All the compost that was delivered earlier this year needs to be moved into the Greenhouse.

On Friday from 3:15-3:45 please come out and get your daily exercise with us. MYP/DP Students, staff, entire sports teams, & parents are most welcome.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Activities with Nanshi Fuzhong School 南师附中

Yesterday Danny and I had a visit from the principal of Nanshi Fuzhong (school next door) and we discussed possible ways we could collaborate next year. We told him that we would put together a list of possible activities and present to him next week. They will do likewise. We will use these lists as a basis of trying to develop some more ongoing activities together. If you have any ideas that you would be interested in being involved with and that you feel our (and their) students would be interested in please let me know.

LSS Survey!

Just another reminder, please fill out the LSS SurveyMonkey that Bob Buhler sent out Tuesday before this Friday.

Thanks!

Missing Mail: Fapiao

The guards signed for a piece of mail for me on the 14th of May, a fapiao for my flights, and said it was delivered to the mail room but I never received it.  If you have found this accidentally stashed in your pidgin hole can you please place it in mine?  Thank you.

New Family : ONG starting Thursday 19th May

We have a new family from Singapore starting with us on Thursday.

They have two little girls : Charlene will be in Pre K and Carolyn in K1A

Mum and Dad have moved here from Bangkok : Anglo Singapore International School but they are Singaporean.

It is hard coming into school this late in the year but I am sure everyone will make them welcome.

Dad is working for BSH and replaces the Nechaeva Family – Alina and Pasha.

They will be living in Crystal Lakes compound.

Thanks

Sue

PS If you have any questions about incoming students for August 2016 please come along to Admissions and have a look at their files or chat to one of us who has probably already met the family and children over recent months.
