Dear Teachers,
There will be a field-test for the ETC teacher presentation, Hip-hop in the Classroom: Leveraging rhyme-writing for comprehension, on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016 (1st Lunch- 12:55 in C109). This presentation will be run as a quick interactive workshop. You will explore the links between rhyme-writing/-reciting and meaning-making in Science, Language Arts (i.e. not just English), Maths, Social Studies and many other subject areas. You will walk away with concrete lesson plans and tools that will help y trial this in the classroom right away. This session is applicable to all G2-G12 teachers. Please come and support your colleague fulfill his requirements to apply for ETC. (If you can make it, please send me a quick RSVP.)
