Costume Room Closed

The Costume Room is in the final stages of a re-design/audit (thanks to Heidi Dean and Sarah Nappi!!) and is therefore out of action. Please do not request any costume for any reason until our new system is in place. We expect this to be during the end of Semester 2. We plan to have in place a clear system for the requesting and borrowing of any costume from the NIS Costume Room. Thanks for your co-operation!

The Movember Challenge!

Before we forget about the incredible month we call “Movember”, lets look back on the great, hairy 30 days by playing a little matching game.

The first student OR teacher to correctly identify ALL of the super amazing mustaches below will receive one LARGE pizza during lunch this Thursday. Please email your guesses, one per person, to Mr. Fischl. And while you’re at it, check out http://moteam.co/team-nanjing to find out more information about Movember and the great things they are doing around the world! I’d also like to send HUGE thank you to everyone that has donated so far and to all of the gentleman that grew a mustache last month!

Grade 8 Course Choices for Grade 9

Hello Grade 8 Rockstars,

Yesterday both you and your parents received an e-mail from me with your possible course choices for next year and a link to submit them. The same message is also in the weekly bulletin today and we will discuss as a class next week (you can’t say I didn’t tell ya!). In the meantime, have a look chat with your parents and submit your choices. The deadline is Friday the 9th. All students should complete the survey… even those that may move on to another school.

You’re growing up so fast it brings a tear to the eye!

Mr. Bratton
