G6-8 Inter-house Basketball ?

This week will see one of the most popular and eagerly anticipated events of the Inter House calendar: G6-8 Basketball!?

Will Wutaishan❤️ whup the competition? Are Taiping? going to take the lead? Or can Xuanwu? shwoosh the most baskets?

To all our basketball big-shots: speak to your house captains, get your name on the list! Each house needs one girls team⛹?‍♀️ and one boys team⛹?. Maximum team size: 5. No maximum squad size.

To all our spectator superstars, come along and support your house on Tuesday (2nd May) at lunchtime in the gym. See you there!

Dear All,  Most of the events for next year have been written into the calendar but this is a last call for activities or weekend events in particular that need to be added. The calendar is in my office right now – please come in and add you events. Lucy will start inputting the events next week.

Farewell Shaquille

Our Athletics Intern, Shaquille Mac-Intosh, has been here for 10 weeks and today is his last day!! He will be working at the MYP/DP Athletics Day all day today, if you get the chance, please say goodbye to him.

We would like to thank Shaquille for all his work over the past 10 weeks and we wish him all the very best for the rest of his studies in Amsterdam.

Dear All, Here is the plan for 3-way conferences tomorrow (Thursday):

  • All students will be dismissed at 12.50pm
  • lunch for PreK, K1 and K2 as usual
  • there is no student lunch provided tomorrow for Grades 1 – 12
  • lunch will be available for staff in the Cafe for purchase as usual (Pork ribs roasted, fish and chips, Mushroom lasagna)

Quiet Library for G12 Exams

 

The library will be reserved for quiet study only during the Grade 12 DP Exam period (through to May 20). Only students wishing to read or work silently will be allowed in the library.

Students wishing to work in groups or hang out with friends during break and lunch are asked to use the upstairs of the cafeteria.

  7. Be enthusiastic
  8. Listen to others’ suggestions
  9. Attend one 40-minute meeting every week
  10. Write a weekly agenda

and are in Grade 9 or above next year
write a statement
explaining why you would be a good (Vice-) President
