Student Council MS/US advisory survey

Dear MS & US students,

Questions about X-Block and Life Skills 101 will be asked by your advisory liaison this week. If s/he is absent, tell your advisor who will email your opinions and suggestions to Hibah.

Please don’t hesitate to make suggestions and tell us what you need or want to change.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Special Surprise!

A special surprise awaits 10 lucky winners who attend the performance of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’!

That’s right…5 audience members each night will win their own Golden Ticket and a sweet surprise awaits them.

Grade 5 Family Histories

On Wednesday 12:00 to 12:45, Grade 5 students will share family histories with parents. However – we did not realise that NIC Bazaar is on tomorrow so there are a few students who won’t have parents visiting. If any teachers are free for any parts of that 45 minutes and like to visit, they will be most welcome!

Chicken Pox

Dear Teachers:

Please note that there has been a recent confirmed case of Chicken Pox (Varicella) in Middle School.
Chickenpox is a very contagious disease caused by a virus. It causes a blister-like rash, itching, tiredness and fever. It can be especially serious in babies, adults, and people with weakened immune systems. More detailed information please find https://www.cdc.gov/chickenpox/index.html

If you or anyone in your household has symptoms that look like Chicken Pox:

●  Contact your regular health care provider immediately
●  If you have Chicken Pox, stay at home until the lesions have scabbed over
●  Check to see if anyone in your home may need to be vaccinated
●  All suspected cases should be reported to me.

If you hear of any students who have Chicken Pox, please inform me immediately.

Thank you,
