DP Music Concert

DP Music students need 20 minutes of recorded live performance to submit for their performance portfolios. That means, they need audiences! Now, they’ve already performed a lot this year, but they still need to fill up their 20 minutes. This means, they need your help! Please come to a 30 minute concert in the middle music room, January 24th, from 17:00 – 17:30.

Middle and Upper School Report Proofreading Tomorrow!

Hello Middle and Upper School Rockstars.

Tomorrow morning you will remain in Advisory for an extra 10 minutes for the purpose of helping us proofread your Semester One report. Please take a look at that time through Veracross. If there are any errors, please e-mail that teacher directly and cc Dr. Saavedra (Grades 10-12) or Mr. Bratton (Grades 6-9).

This IS NOT a time to beg, plead, and/or harass your amazing teachers about changing your marks in any way, shape, or form. No, there is no extra credit. No, your teacher is not going to bump up your mark “just one point” due to your amazing begging skills. #gradegrubbingisnotcool.

Thanks!

About Facility Request Form

Dear All,

In order to get the Yellow Form (Facility Request Form) system working properly, I would like to suggest that you write your name and location (room number) on the form in  clear handwriting and in capital letters, This will make it easier to process your request quickly, identify the initiator of the request  and ensure that the maintenance issues are dealt with rapidly.

Thank you for your support and understanding!

A new Semester is coming – Start thinking about your Service Learning now

MYP / DP students, don’t forget there are various types of activities you can do for your Service Learning. Have a look at the attached document as a reminder. For some of these you do not need to rely on helping with school events – you can be your own boss and follow your own interests. Please let me know if you have any questions. typesofservice
