Managebac Level III

Managebac Training

 

Managebac Level III training will be offered today, Thursday, and Friday from 1300 in D218. (Note: You must complete Level II training and the accompanying quiz in order to take Level III). 

The instructional portion of the training will be around 20-30 minutes, but Cindy and Joe will be available for the duration of the lunch break to answer questions and facilitate deeper dives. All MS/US teachers must attend at least one session prior to the end of the school year (and before taking any other levels of Managebac training). Level III will cover the following:

Communications – an overview and light dip into how messaging works in Managebac in terms of communicating with students, parents and teachers (a bit different than Veracross).

Teachers will be able to:

  1. Send Task reminders
  2. Send Grade posting notifications
  3. Send Year Group notifications
  4. Understand the difference between notifications and sending email notices
  5. Understand what messages look like from the Student and Parent side

Managebac Level II

Managebac Level II training will be offered today and Wednesday from 1300 in D218. (Note: You must complete Level I training and the accompanying quiz in order to take Level II). Level III will be offered on Thursday and Friday of this week covering the communication and calendaring aspects of Managebac.

The instructional portion of the training will be around 20-30 minutes, but Cindy and Joe will be available for the duration of the lunch break to answer questions and facilitate deeper dives. All MS/US teachers must attend at least one session prior to the end of the school year (and before taking any other levels of Managebac training). Level II will cover the following:

Reporting – an introduction to how the gradebook functions in Managebac and connects with the various assessment tasks you’ve created, as well as how this looks on the student side.

Teachers will be able to:

  1. Understand how Formative and Summative assessments are represented in the Gradebook tab
  2. Understand how Managebac displays feedback on tasks to students
  3. Navigate through the Gradebook tab including student progress section
  4. Understand how tasks are represented on the Student portfolio (including the “Learning Goals” feature)
