eRequest System Training This Afternoon!

As mentioned previously, we are rolling out a new eRequest system.  There will be a training session today from 2:45 to 3:30 pm in the PAC.

In this training, we will:

  • Learn how to login
  • Learn how to decide which form to fill out
  • Learn how to fill out the main forms
  • Learn how to print documents

WIDA Testing Schedule

Most Language Acquisition English (English B) students will be involved in WIDA testing this week. The summary timetable is below.

Student Information – Secondary Sports Showcase (Tuesday 23rd April)

Hi Student Athletes,

Please see below the schedule and some KEY information for the upcoming Sports Showcase Day

Morning (Blocks 1-4) will be before lunch on this day) This is Track and Field events with students striving to show/achieve their personal excellence in 3 events linked to their learning.

Afternoon (Block 5) will be a Grade Level house community event to be organised by the Student House Committee/interested Teachers.

  • Grade 6 and Advisors – Quad area (outdoor Table tennis tables)
  • Grade 7 and Advisors – Blue Gym
  • Grade 8 and Advisors – Grass Quad in front of the PAC
  • Grade 9 and Advisors – Football Field
  • Grade 10/11 and Advisors – Green Gym

KEY INFORMATION:

  1. Go to BLOCK 1 as normal for attendance (6x200m relay runners get ready to run) Announced on Monday 22nd April
  2. Come out to the field to your HOUSE Area (wearing your house shirt/colours)
  3. WATCH the opening event and cheer your house (6x200m relay)
  4. PREPARE/ACTIVATE for your first event of the day (see below)
  5. Bring HEALTHY snack (NO Breaktime)
  6. LUNCH is at 12:30
  7. After LUNCH go to your GRADE level location (above)
  8. 14:10 Closing ceremony in the BLUE gym

SCHEDULE:

8.10 Meet on the Field to warm up/introduce the sports day.
8.25 6X200M Relay (1 Boys/1Girls team per house with a representative from G6,7,8,9,10)
8.30 – 09.45 Long Jump/Triple Jump/High Jump Shot Put , HBT or Javelin Track Events and 4x100m
09:45 – 11.00 Track Events and 4x100m Long Jump and/Triple Jump/High Jump Shot Put or Javelin
11.00 – 12.30 Shot Put, HBT or Javelin Track Events and 4x100m Long Jump and/Triple Jump/High Jump
12:30 – 13.00 Lunch – MS/US EAT 12:30-13:00
13:00-14:30 All Athletes go to their house community event and closing ceremony

PLEASE check the noticeboards in the BLUE gym, ask your PE teacher any questions you might have BEFORE the event.

Here are the provisional job allocations for the Secondary Sports Showcase Day

Morning (Blocks 1-4) will be before lunch on this day) This is Track and Field events with students striving to show/achieve their personal excellence in 3 events linked to their learning.

Afternoon (Block 5) will be a Grade Level house community event to be organised by the Student House Committee/interested Teachers.

All events and roles have been simplified this year. Phil and I will clarify on the morning of the event any questions you might have or come and see us.

KEY INFORMATION:

  1. Go to BLOCK 1 as normal for attendance (6x200m relay runners get ready to run) Announced on Monday 22nd April
  2. Come out to the field to your HOUSE Area (wearing your house shirt/colours)
  3. WATCH the opening event and cheer your house (6x200m relay)
  4. Lead official to double check rules with Phil/Ben
  5. IF you have a morning BTT, please switch or go and attend this.
  6. Bring a HEALTHY snack (NO Breaktime) Snack will be provided for staff throughout the morning in the PAC Foyer
  7. LUNCH is at 12:30
  8. After LUNCH go to your GRADE level location (above)
  9. 14:10 Closing ceremony in the BLUE gym

Secondary MAP Make-Up Today

No Green Gym Pick-Up for Primary Today

A reminder that the Green Gym is not open for afternoon pick-up today. Parents have been asked to wait in The Center lobby instead. Pk – G2, please walk students to the lobby. G3 – 5 students should make their own way to the lobby.
