Restricted access to PAC grass area till Oct 8th

Hi All,

Due to the maintenance period of the new winter grass, the PAC grass will be off-limits to access until Oct 8th, the end of National holiday. Please direct the students to the alternative areas on campus. Thank you for your understanding.

Student-Led Peer Tutoring – As it’s always so fun to study with friends, come join peer tutoring. It is a place where you can study with your peers on a specific subject that you find hard to deal with. If you are not sure what this is, just come to Mr Shane’s classroom on Mondays after school. Remember how fun Mr Shane is so just come.

Student-Led Gunpla – Join a group of students who are to building Gunpla models and create a Gunpla scene to participate in the Gunpla Builders World Cup *inland China zone* (GBWC). Friday after school, we meet in Mr Baksh’s room.

Skateboard Volunteer Opportunity

Ms. Moen needs two student volunteers from Grades 8-11 to help with a primary Skateboarding and Roller Blading activity after school on Thursdays from 3:00 – 4:15. You do not need to have any experience roller blading or skateboarding. You will help the primary school students to put on their roller blades and safety gear and assist the beginners as they learn to skate. This volunteering will last for 3 weeks from Sept. 21 – Oct. 19. Contact Ms. Moen via email: cherylmoen@nanjing-school.com or her classroom, D242.

Secondary MAP Testing Wrap-Up Friday

Secondary students in need of MAP testing wrap-up should head to the MAIN BUILDING LGR on Friday at 2:00pm. These students have received an email from Mr. Bratton as well. See you then!

Higher Education Visit: The University of Exter & the University of York

Following the USA and Canadian university visits this week, we are pleased to share that the UK universities, the University of Exeter and the University of York, will be visiting to provide information session about their universities. If you are interested in universities in the UK, please come and join the College Counselling event.

MAP Grade 7 and Grade 10 AND All Make-up/Wrap-Up Today!

Our secondary fall MAP testing session finishes today with Grades 7 (8:40am) and 10 (1:00pm) in the Centre LGR.

Any secondary student who needs to make-up/wrap-up a MAP test should also come to the Centre LGR AFTER BREAK TODAY (Block 3). Please check your inbox for a message from Mr. Bratton if this is you!

Please arrive for your assessment with a charged laptop, a good night’s sleep, and your best effort (like every school day). If you have a MAP test in the morning, please report DIRECTLY to the CENTRE LGR.
