NIS Campus Access FAQs

When can Primary & Middle School students be on campus after-school?

–For scheduled and supervised activities/appointments only.

 

Where can Primary and Middle School students wait for ASAs that start later?

–In the cafeteria or library only.

 

Can Primary & Middle School students access the Café?

–With parental supervision only.

 

Where should students wait if pick-up is delayed?

–Students that do not have ASAs should depart campus directly after school. In the event that a parent is late due to an unforeseen issue, Primary students must wait in the PS Office, MS Students in the Centre Foyer.

 

When can NIS students be on campus on the weekend?

–For scheduled and supervised NIS activities/appointments only.

The ASWS is back on this week!

The After School Work Space (ASWS) is open Monday and Wednesday this week from 3:00-4:10  in the Learning Support Area (C142). All grade 6-12 students are invited to attend.

Students can find a quiet place to study and/or work on assignments, ask teachers questions, or work on group projects.

Sports Night

Grades 7-10: Come for Sports Night today in the green gym at school. There will be food, drinks, music and sports!

Last Volunteering for Semester 2 – G6-11

Please come out in HUGE numbers to support Saelyn’s Walkathon. She is raising awareness and money for Research into Parkinson’s Disease.

A small donation of 20 rmb combined with 20 rmb from others will allow doctors and scientist to continue their work to find a cure for this progressive nervous system disorder that affects movement.

Please report to the LGR TODAY at the start of Block 3 to complete your MAP testing. You have been emailed by Mr. Bratton and your Block 3 teachers are aware.

Do you have books on your shelves that you would like to donate? Here is your chance! We are collecting books to give to a primary school for migrant children in Chongqing. Bring in Chinese or English language books and drop them off in the white tub in the Centre Lobby or D213 (Ms. Moen’s classroom). You will have more space on your shelves!

It’s a fundraiser to raise awareness and money for Parkinson’s Disease.

You can volunteer your time to walk 2k or run 2k or 5k at the Yangshan Park Run.

Sunday, May 16th. Meet at 8.40 am at Yangshan Park.

Meet at 8.40 am for a 9 am start.

You can run 2 or 5 kilometres or you can walk 2 kilometres.

We are raising funds and awareness for Parkinson’s Research. Parkinson’s Disease affects the nervous system.

Scientists are working hard to find out what causes Parkinson’s Disease and how to stop it. But until they find a way to make it go away, together as a community we can raise awareness and funds so research can continue. All money raised from this walkathon will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Research into Parkinson’s Disease.
